Maple Bacon Roasted Pecans

These Maple Bacon Roasted Pecans combine crunchy pecan halves with crisp bacon pieces, tossed in maple syrup, fresh rosemary, chili flakes, and olive oil, then roasted until golden. The result is a sweet, savory, and slightly spicy nut snack or topping with a mix of textures and robust flavors.

Description

The recipe starts by crisping streaky bacon and chopping it roughly. Pecans are mixed with the cooled bacon, maple syrup for sweetness, finely chopped rosemary for herbaceous notes, and chili flakes to add a touch of heat. Olive oil helps everything coat evenly.

Roasting the mixture in the oven develops a deep golden color and toasts the nuts, intensifying their natural flavor and crisping the bacon further. The combination offers a balance of smoky, sweet, spicy, and herbal elements with contrasting textures between nuts and bacon bits.

These roasted pecans can be enjoyed on their own as a snack or used as a topping for salads or roasted vegetables, delivering rich flavor and crunch.
