Report
You will love this homemade granola recipe. It's easy to make, healthy, delicious, and it will make your kitchen smell amazing! Enjoy it for breakfast, as a snack, or give as a neighbor gift. This recipe comes from my sweet 80 year old friend, Marcella. After Marcella gifted me a bag of this amazing granola I knew I needed to share it with all of you! It has the perfect crunch with just the right sweetness. It is super simple to make and loved by all!

Instructions
- Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl combine all of the dry ingredients (not the oil, honey, vanilla, or dried fruit- if using)
- In a separate bowl, combine the oil, honey, and vanilla. Pour the wet ingredients onto the dry ingredients and stir to coat thoroughly. Spread on prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until nice and golden brown. About every 5 minutes, gently lift the outside edges with a large spatula and fold it into the middle, then smooth the granola out evenly in the pan*. Do not over bake. Add dried fruit once removed from the oven and let cool on baking sheet. When cool, store in airtight container. Enjoy!
Notes
- More or less nutty clusters- you decide. I prefer small and clumps in my granola. To get small clumps you will stir the granola about every 5 minutes while it is baking. To encourage LARGE clumps to form, press the oats mixture into a 1-inch thick oval for the first 15 minutes of baking. Then, remove the pan from the oven and use a fork to gently break the oval apart. Bake for 15 minutes more, and you’ll end up with large clusters.
