Mas huni is a typical Maldivian breakfast, composed of tuna, onion, coconut, and chili and traditionally served with a flat bread called huni roshi.

Ingredients
For the mas huni
- 16 oz white tuna crumbled, canned solid in water
- 5 oz dried tuna (umbalakada)
- 2 green hot pepper seeded and chopped
- 2 onion grated
- lime juice of 2 large
- lime zest of 1
- 1 coconut ripe), grated or 3 oz/100g of dried shredded coconut (rehydrated with a little coconut milk, fresh

For the huni roshi
- 4 cups flour , sifted
- 2 cups coconut shredded
- ½ cup coconut ripe, fresh
- 3 tablespoons neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
- 1½ cup water about, warm
- 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
Mas Huni
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
- 2 options:- Serve in a bowl- Serve in molds
- Mas huni should be served cold.
Huni Roshi
- In the food processor bowl, combine all the ingredients except water. Add water gradually until getting a light dough.
- Divide the dough into several balls. Flatten each ball in a circle of a thickness of about ⅕ inch (5mm).
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Bake each roshi for about 2 minutes on each side. Serve hot.
