  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ¼ cup yellow onion finely chopped
  • cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.
