Mexican 7 Layer Dip
Description
This dip starts with refried beans mixed with taco seasoning to give a spiced base layer. Sequentially topped with guacamole and sour cream, it creates contrasting creamy textures. Shredded cheese adds a mild salty richness, with fresh diced tomatoes providing slight acidity and juiciness. Finally, sliced black olives and finely chopped green onions add savory and fresh elements to complete the seven-layer assembly.
After assembling, the dip is chilled for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld. Serving it cold preserves the layered textures and freshness of the ingredients, making it suitable for sharing at gatherings.
