Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons whole milk or heavy cream
- Pinch salt & pepper
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese; optional

Instructions
- Microwave the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl until just melted. Brush it all over the bowl.
- Crack eggs into the bowl then whisk in the milk and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
- Microwave the eggs, uncovered, for 30 seconds. Gently give them a stir with a fork then add in a small handful of cheese if desired.
- Microwave for an additional 45 seconds or until fluffy and almost set. Serve immediately!
