Million Dollar Chicken Salad

Million Dollar Chicken Salad mixes shredded or cubed chicken with celery, sharp cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, toasted slivered almonds, and green onions, all coated in a creamy blend of mayonnaise and sour cream. This combination offers a crunchy texture from the nuts and celery balanced with the richness of cheese and creamy dressing, making a satisfying salad for sandwiches, wraps, or crackers.

Description

This chicken salad features a variety of textures and flavors: tender chicken provides the base, crisp celery and toasted almonds add crunch, while sharp cheddar cheese and bacon bring savory depth. The mixture is bound by mayonnaise and sour cream, giving creaminess and moisture without overpowering the other ingredients. Green onions contribute a mild onion flavor, enhancing balance.

The salad is versatile and can be served on toast, in avocado boats, lettuce wraps, or alongside crackers for a light meal or snack. The combination of ingredients creates a layered flavor and texture profile that elevates simple chicken salad beyond the ordinary, appealing to those who appreciate both creaminess and crunch.
