Mint Yogurt Sauce

Mint Yogurt Sauce is bright, refreshing and delicious as a creamy dipping sauce, a salad dressing or a drizzle on pitas or wraps. It pairs well with many different dishes. Makes 1 cup.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
- 1 garlic core removed (see my notes) and crushed, small clove
- ¼ teaspoon cumin ground
- 1 cup Greek yogurt low-fat or full-fat
- 1 cup mint finely chopped, fresh leaves, loosely packed
- salt to taste, cooking
- black pepper to taste, fresh
Instructions
- Add lemon juice, garlic and cumin to a bowl then stir to combine.
- Then add yogurt, chopped mint, and salt and pepper to taste (start with a pinch).
Notes

- For recipes like this one where the garlic will remain raw, I split the garlic clove down the middle and take out the core that runs through the centre. The sharp, onion-like taste of the core is mellowed with cooking, so for these recipes, I remove it.
