Miracle One Hour White Bread
Description
This bread recipe uses very warm water to activate instant yeast quickly. After dissolving the yeast with sugar, oil, flour, and salt are added, and the dough is kneaded using a stand mixer or by hand until it pulls away from the bowl. The dough has a brief rise of around 25 minutes in a warm place, which helps achieve a fast overall baking time.
The dough is shaped into two loaves, placed in sprayed loaf pans, and baked at 350 degrees until golden, resulting in loaves with a soft crumb and light crust. Butter is brushed over the warm bread after baking for extra flavor and moisture.
This bread is suitable for sandwiches or table bread. The short rising time and direct shaping make it convenient for home bakers seeking fresh bread without long wait times. Shaping and rising in a warm location helps the dough develop quickly.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water very warm
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon instant yeast heaping
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
- 4 3/4 - 5 1/4 cups bread flour white
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Instructions

- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden.
- Once bread is done, remove from oven and spread butter all over warm loaves. Let cool for several minutes before removing from pan.
