Miso Tahini Brownies

Miso Tahini Brownies blend rich sesame flavors from tahini and umami depth from white miso paste into a classic brownie mix. The batter combines these with eggs, oil, and vanilla to create a moist, fudgy brownie with a subtle savory note. A tahini drizzle and optional sesame seeds on top add an extra nutty touch to finish.

Description

Miso Tahini Brownies start with whisking eggs, tahini, white miso paste, vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract, creating a smooth mixture. A packaged brownie mix is incorporated thoroughly to form the batter. Pouring into a prepared pan, the batter is topped with tahini drizzled and swirled through before optional sesame seeds are sprinkled atop.

Baked at 325°F for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with slight crumbs, the resulting brownies have a moist and tender crumb enriched by the sesame and fermented miso flavors. The tahini topping adds a distinct nutty, creamy accent.

These brownies offer a creative twist on a familiar dessert by adding depth and nuttiness through the use of tahini and miso, providing an interesting balance of sweet and savory elements.
