Mississippi Sin Dip

Mississippi Sin Dip is a baked savory dip combining sour cream, cream cheese, sharp cheddar, chopped ham, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. The mixture is baked inside hollowed French bread, developing a creamy, cheesy filling with a mildly spicy kick, ideal for serving warm with bread or crackers.

Description

Mississippi Sin Dip layers sour cream, softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar, diced ham, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce into a flavorful, creamy spread. The mixture is placed inside a hollowed-out French bread loaf and baked at 350°F until thoroughly warmed. The baking melds the flavors and softens the filling for easy scooping.

The bread acts both as a container and accompaniment, offering a crusty contrast to the smooth, savory dip. The hot sauce adds subtle heat balanced by the richness of cream cheese and cheddar, while ham provides smoky, salty bites. The Worcestershire sauce contributes depth and umami, rounding out the layered flavors.

This dip is well-suited as an appetizer or party snack. Serving with additional bread cubes or crackers extends the dish and provides textural variety.
