Mixed Berry Trifle

Mixed Berry Trifle layers vanilla pound cake cubes, a whipped cream-pudding blend, and sugared fresh strawberries and blueberries. The dessert offers creamy, fruity, and soft cake textures combined in a visually appealing layered presentation, chilled before serving for a cool, sweet treat.

Description

This Mixed Berry Trifle features a base of moist vanilla pound cake cut into cubes layered with a whipped mixture of heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and prepared vanilla pudding. Fresh strawberries and blueberries tossed with sugar add bright, natural sweetness and juiciness.

The whipped cream and pudding blend creates a creamy, light texture that contrasts with the dense cake pieces, while the sugared berries provide freshness and slight tartness. Layering the components in a trifle bowl showcases the colors and textures, inviting visual appeal.

Chilling the trifle for at least one hour allows the flavors to meld and the layers to set, making it easier to serve. This dessert suits warm weather gatherings or as a festive treat highlighting summer berries.
