Moist Cinnamon Apple Bread
Description
Moist Cinnamon Apple Bread combines applesauce and three cups of diced green apples with cinnamon and a mix of granulated and brown sugars to create a deeply flavorful quick bread batter. Eggs and vanilla extract provide structure and richness, while baking soda and salt ensure proper rise and seasoning. The diced Granny Smith apples add tartness and moisture, punctuating the bread with tender fruit pockets.
Baked at a low 300-degree Fahrenheit temperature for 90 minutes in two loaf pans, the bread emerges with a soft, moist crumb and a mild cinnamon aroma. The slow bake helps to evenly cook the dense batter without drying it out, preserving the moisture contributed by the apples and applesauce.
This apple bread is excellent for an easy breakfast, afternoon tea, or lunchbox treat. Its moist texture and balanced sweetness also make it enjoyable plain or with a smear of butter.
