Monster Cookie Recipe

Monster cookies combine oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and M&Ms in a chewy cookie without using flour. Sweetened with both brown and white sugar, these cookies offer a balance of sweetness and texture with a tender center and slightly crisp edges. The absence of flour gives them a denser, heartier bite. They're convenient to scoop and bake, ideal when you want a cookie loaded with mix-ins for a satisfying treat.

Description

The Monster Cookie Recipe blends peanut butter, sugars, butter, eggs, and vanilla with quick-cooking oats as the base. Baking soda provides leavening, while milk chocolate chips and plain M&Ms add sweet bursts of chocolate and color. The dough is dropped onto cookie sheets, optionally topped with extra chips and candies. Baking at 350°F for 10–12 minutes yields cookies that finish cooling on a rack to set. The mixture's lack of flour results in a chewy texture dominated by peanut butter and oat flavors complemented by the chocolate and candy pieces.

These cookies can be enjoyed as a snack, a lunchbox treat, or dessert. Their robust texture and mix of ingredients make them filling enough to serve alongside milk or coffee. This recipe's inclusion of peanut butter and oats also adds a richer mouthfeel compared to standard sugar cookies.

Note that despite no flour, some ingredients may contain gluten, so labels should be checked for dietary restrictions. It's important to avoid overbaking to maintain the cookie's softness and chewiness.
