Ninja Foodi Hard Boiled Eggs

This recipe explains how to cook hard boiled eggs using a Ninja Foodi pressure cooker. It produces eggs with shells that peel off easily after a quick pressure cooking and cold water bath. Cooking seven eggs at once without adjusting the time is practical for making a batch to use throughout the week.

Description

The Ninja Foodi Hard Boiled Eggs recipe uses the pressure cooking function of the Ninja Foodi to cook eggs in their shells evenly. After placing the eggs in a steamer basket over water, the device is sealed and set to high pressure for seven minutes. Quickly releasing the pressure and submerging the eggs in cold water stops the cooking and makes peeling easier by loosening the shells. Pressing each egg gently against a countertop cracks the shell cleanly so it can be removed without tearing the egg white. This method is consistent regardless of cooking one or several eggs.

The texture of the eggs is firm but tender, ideal for snacks, salads, or sandwiches. The recipe does not require timing adjustments for cooking different numbers of eggs, simplifying batch preparation. The quick peeling technique can save time during meal prep.

Because the recipe yields a specific number of hard boiled eggs prepared in a Ninja Foodi, it suits cooks who want a reliable, repeatable method for perfectly boiled eggs with minimal fuss.

Ingredients

Servings

Kitchen Gadgets:

  • Ninja Foodi

Ninja Foodi Hard Boiled Eggs Ingredients:

  • 7 egg

Instructions

  1. Pour a cup and a half of cold water into the Ninja Foodi Cooking Pot and add your steamer basket or egg holder. Grab your eggs and load into the egg basket or the steamer basket. Place the lid on the Ninja Foodi, set the valve to sealing and press the pressure cook button twice, until it registers high pressure. Set the time to 7 minutes and press start.
  2. When it beeps, manually release pressure, and load the eggs into a jug with cold water. With each egg press it down on a clean worktop like you are using a rolling pin. The shell will then perfectly come off the egg.
  3. Once you have done all seven eggs, rinse them under a tap to remove any excess shell and then you’re done.

Notes

  • You can hard boil any number of eggs in the Ninja Foodi without changing the cooking time; just stack them in the steamer basket.
  • After cooking, always cool the eggs in cold water to stop the cooking and help with peeling.
  • Use the rolling press method to crack the shells for easier peeling and to keep egg whites intact.
