Ingredients

Servings

For the bars:

  • 1 cup almond butter creamy
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract pure
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup coconut flaked
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt sea salt

For the topping:

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup almonds chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flaked
  • sea salt for sprinkling, flaky

Instructions

  1. Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add the oats, coconut, almond flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, and sea salt. Stir until well combined. The mixture will be thick.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. In a medium microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Place in the microwave and heat in 30 second intervals, or until smooth. Stir well.
  6. Pour the chocolate overtop of the bars. Spread with a spatula so the chocolate is in an even layer.
  7. Sprinkle the almonds over the chocolate. Top with coconut and flaky sea salt.
  8. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator. Chill the bars for at least 2 hours before cutting.
  9. When chilled completely, cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze the bars for up to 3 months.
