No Bake Peach Chiffon Pie
Description
This pie begins with dissolving peach Jello powder in water heated briefly, ensuring full dissolution. Peach yogurt and Cool Whip are whisked into the gelatin mixture to create a light, airy chiffon filling. Fresh diced peaches are gently folded in to add texture and flavor.
The creamy, peach-flavored filling is poured into a prepared graham cracker crust, which adds a crisp and slightly sweet base contrasting with the smooth filling. The pie is chilled for at least an hour, or longer, allowing the gelatin to set firmly for sliceable consistency.
Before serving, the pie is topped decoratively with thinly sliced peaches. The pie serves eight slices, suitable as a refreshing summer dessert or for peach lovers seeking a no-bake option.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup water
- 3 ounces peach jello (1 box)
- 12 ounces yogurt peach
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 cup peach peeled, pitted & diced, fresh
- 1 graham cracker pie crust
- 8 peach for garnish, sliced
Instructions
- Whisk together the water and jello in a mixing bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Whisk again until the jello has dissolved.
- Add the yogurt and Cool Whip to the jello and whisk to combine. Then stir in the diced peaches.
- Pour the pie filling into the graham cracker crust. Cover and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour or up to overnight.
- Top with peach slices before cutting into 8 slices and serving. Store any leftovers covered in the fridge.
