No Bake Reeses Puffs Treats Recipe

No Bake Reese’s Puffs Treats blend Reese’s Puffs cereal with melted butter and marshmallows, folded together and enhanced by chopped peanut butter cups. This recipe creates sweet, chewy bars that combine the crunch of cereal with creamy, melty marshmallows and rich chocolate-peanut butter pieces. The treats are chilled to set and cut into squares, making a handheld snack or dessert.

Description

No Bake Reese’s Puffs Treats are assembled by melting butter with mini marshmallows, creating a sticky, sweet binder. This mixture is then combined with Reese’s Puffs cereal, which provides a crispy, nutty texture and peanut butter flavor. After mixing, chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups are folded in, adding bursts of chocolate and peanut butter throughout the treats.

The mixture is pressed into a greased or parchment-lined pan, topped with additional mini peanut butter cups, and chilled until firm. Once set, they are cut into squares and can be served as a portable dessert or snack with a combination of softness from the marshmallows, crunch from the cereal, and pockets of peanut butter and chocolate.

This no-bake recipe is convenient for making ahead or bringing to gatherings without the need for an oven.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 6 cups Reese’s Puffs cereal
  • 3 tbsp butter I prefer salted, but go for your preference
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups mini or full sized, chopped
  • 6-10 peanut butter cups you can opt for full size, reduce to 3-4, Reese's mini

Instructions

  1. Prepare cake pan or casserole dish by greasing with butter or lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine butter and marshmallows.
  3. Microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring in between each burst, until butter is melted and marshmallows melt - about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir well to mix.
  5. Pour cereal into butter and marshmallow mixture.
  6. Mix well to combine - don’t over mix.
  7. Add chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups after mixing.
  8. Pour into cake pan.
  9. Press additional mini peanut butter cups on top.
  10. Chill for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator (Cover with plastic wrap to prevent your treats from taking on flavors from foods in the fridge.)
  11. Cut squares (or other shapes!) with a sharp knife, and enjoy!
