Description
This recipe layers rolled oats with milk and Nutella divided between small jars, stirred together and refrigerated for at least 8 hours. The oats absorb liquid and flavor, becoming tender without cooking. Before serving, the oats are topped with extra Nutella and crunchy granola to add texture contrast.
The overnight soaking results in a creamy, sweet, and slightly nutty porridge with the smoothness of Nutella permeating the oats. This method requires no morning preparation beyond stirring in toppings.

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons Nutella divided
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup granola
Instructions
- In a pin-size mason jar, stir together 1/2 cup milk and 1 tablespoon Nutella until combined. Stir in 1/2 cup of rolled oats and fix the lid onto the jar. Repeat with the other jar.
- Place the jars into your refrigerator and let sit overnight (at least 8 hours).
- Take the lid off one of the jars and top the oats with 1 tablespoon of Nutella and 1/4 cup of granola for serving.
