Nutter Butter Ghosts Recipe

Nutter Butter Ghosts are seasonal treats featuring Nutter Butter cookies dipped in melted white almond bark to create a ghostly coating. Mini chocolate chips are used to decorate the eyes and mouth, producing a playful candy dessert with a crisp almond bark shell and the soft peanut butter cookie inside. Chilling or setting at room temperature allows the coating to harden, making them easy to handle and serve as themed snacks.

Description

This recipe transforms classic Nutter Butter cookies into festive ghost-shaped treats by dipping them halfway or fully into melted white almond bark. The almond bark sets into a firm, sweet shell around the cookie, offering a contrast in texture to the peanut butter-flavored cookie inside.

Decoration involves placing mini chocolate chips on the coated cookies to depict eyes and an upside-down chip for the mouth, adding a whimsical expression perfect for seasonal celebrations. The coated cookies are placed on parchment or wax paper to set.

The coating hardens either at room temperature or faster in the refrigerator, providing flexibility based on timing needs. These treats serve well as fun desserts for parties or themed snacks, combining familiar flavors with an inventive presentation.
