Ingredients

Servings

Peanut Butter Waffles

  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup peanut butter creamy
  • 2 egg large
  • 2 ¼ cups milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup butter melted, unsalted

Creamy Peanut Butter Filling

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Peanut Butter Syrup

  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter creamy

Optional Toppings

  • ¼ cup cookies crushed, Nutter Butter brand

Instructions

Peanut Butter Filling

  1. Prepare the filling by mixing all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. 
  2. Transfer the ingredients to a large ziplock bag or piping bag and set aside.

Peanut Butter Waffles

  1. Preheat a waffle iron.
  2. Combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, eggs, milk and vanilla. 
  4. Add the dry ingredients, mix together well, then add the melted butter and combine.
  5. Pour the batter into the waffle iron and cook.
  6. Remove from the waffle iron. Continue making waffles until all of the waffle batter is gone.
  7. Cut a small hole in the corner of the ziplock bag with the filling, or use a piping bag and pipe the filling on top of one waffle, then place another waffle on top of the filling. Continue until all waffles have been filled.

Peanut Butter Syrup

  1. To make peanut butter syrup to drizzle on top, combine the maple syrup and peanut butter together in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Microwave for 30-60 seconds.

Notes

  • This recipe makes 6 large waffles using this waffle iron.
