Oatmeal Latte
Description
This drink begins by gently simmering old fashioned oats in milk seasoned with salt and cinnamon, stirring frequently until the oats become very creamy. Steamed and frothed milk is added to enhance smoothness, followed by brown sugar and vanilla extract for sweetness and aroma. The oatmeal mixture is divided between mugs, each topped with espresso shots that add coffee's bitter depth.
Granola sprinkled on top provides a crunchy contrast to the creamy latte base. The drink offers a comforting blend of textures and flavors, merging the wholesome qualities of oatmeal with the invigorating punch of espresso.
The recipe gives a unique way to enjoy oats and coffee combined, making it suitable for a filling breakfast beverage or a morning pick-me-up.
