- 2 jars Kraft Old English Cheese Spread 5 ounce each
- 8 English muffins split
- Parsley for Garnish optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Brown and drain the grease from your breakfast sausage.
- Mix the sausage with the cheese in a medium bowl and stir.
- On a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, lay out your split English muffins, nooks and crannies side up.
- Divide the sausage mixture evenly between all the muffins and spread out.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
Notes
- If you can't find Kraft Old English Cheese Spread, don't worry! Velveeta is an excellent alternative. Just make sure to use the same amount (10 ounces). The texture and flavor will be slightly different but still delicious.
- Adding chopped bell peppers, onions, or spinach can amp up the flavor and add extra nutrition. Just slightly cook raw vegetables before mixing them with the sausage and cheese to avoid excess moisture.
- You can use turkey sausage as a leaner alternative. It is an excellent option if you're looking to cut down on fat.
