One Pot Lemon Garlic Pork Chops and Asparagus Skillet
Description
One Pot Lemon Garlic Pork Chops and Asparagus Skillet uses bone-in or boneless pork chops seared until browned, then briefly removed while asparagus cooks in the same pan. Minced garlic and shallots add aromatic flavor, complemented by a lemony brightness from fresh lemon wedges. Chicken stock simmers down with the vegetables, and butter is added in pats for richness.
The cooking technique builds flavor by browning meat first, then slowly softening asparagus and intensifying the broth within the skillet, integrating the lemon and garlic throughout. The pork returns to the pan to finish cooking to a safe internal temperature, ensuring juicy chops with a balance of fresh and savory notes.
This dish can be served simply as is or alongside rice or a salad to complete a meal. The combination of pork and asparagus offers a balanced plate that merges protein with fresh vegetable flavors.
