One Pot Low Carb Shrimp Alfredo
Description
In this recipe, diced garlic is sautéed briefly before adding shrimp, zucchini noodles, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, and jarred creamy basil Alfredo sauce to the skillet. Everything is cooked together for several minutes until heated through, allowing the flavors to meld. The shrimp add protein and a slight sweetness, while the zucchini noodles provide a vegetable base with a delicate bite.
The sauce is rich and herbaceous, complementing the fresh basil and tomatoes, and keeping the dish moist without heavy cream-heavy scratch sauce. The quick saute method keeps shrimp tender, and the zucchini noodles remain slightly firm to avoid sogginess.
Serve this simple one pot dish as a low-carb dinner option without the starch of regular pasta. It offers a balance of protein, vegetables, and sauce in a single meal that is easily prepared and cleaned up.
