One-Pot Veggie Yakisoba Recipe

One-Pot Veggie Yakisoba is a stir-fried noodle dish combining bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and onion with yakisoba noodles and a savory sauce of soy, oyster, Worcestershire, ketchup, and sugar. The recipe highlights the tender-crisp texture of varied vegetables melded with flavorful noodles in a single skillet, simplifying preparation and cleanup.

Description

The recipe begins by mixing a yakisoba sauce blending sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Vegetables including bell pepper strips, bite-size broccoli, carrot strips, shredded cabbage, and sliced onion are cooked separately in a hot oiled skillet until tender-crisp, then combined. The stir-fried vegetables join separated and cooked yakisoba noodles in the skillet, with the prepared sauce poured over everything and tossed to coat.

Simmering briefly lets flavors meld and the noodles absorb the seasonings. This results in a savory, slightly sweet noodle dish showcasing a variety of veggie textures from crisp to tender. The use of common pantry sauces simplifies traditional yakisoba flavor components.

This one-pot meal is convenient for a quick lunch or dinner, providing a balanced dish with vegetables and noodles in a flavorful sauce without needing multiple pans or steps. It can be served as is or alongside other simple side dishes.
