Ingredients
- 8 black tea bags ((such as Liptons, Rose’s or PG Tips))
- 1 medium orange (peel only)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (freshly grated)
- 8 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil and place 8 tea bags in a large pitcher.
- Meanwhile, carefully remove peel from one orange. Be careful to avoid the bitter, white pith – you only want the bright orange peel. A small sharp knife or carrot peeler works well.
- Place orange peel and grated ginger in a pitcher on top of the tea bags.
- Pour boiling hot water in the pitcher and let steep 10 for minutes.
- Serve hot or chill to serve iced.
