Orange Water
Description
To make Orange Water, fresh oranges are washed and sliced, then added to a pitcher with cold water. Refrigeration for at least an hour allows the citrus essence to infuse the water. Mashing the orange slices gently with a spoon can help release more juice and oils into the water for stronger flavor.
Adding fresh mint leaves at serving adds a cooling herbal note that complements the citrus. This beverage is hydrating with a natural fruit flavor, making it a suitable alternative to plain water without added sweeteners or other ingredients.
Orange Water can be served chilled at any time and is simple to prepare ahead. Adjust the amount of orange slices or mint to taste for different intensity levels.
