Original Caeser Salad Dressing Recipe
Description
The Original Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe combines mayonnaise with Dijon mustard and minced garlic to build a creamy base. Grated Parmesan adds a salty, savory depth, balanced by the acidity of fresh lemon juice and a touch of Worcestershire sauce.
Olive oil is optional and can mellow the texture. The ingredients are whisked together until smooth and can be adjusted by taste before serving.
This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to five days. For non-vegetarians, the addition of anchovy paste can enhance the classic umami flavor characteristic of traditional Caesar dressings.
