Our Favorite Taco Salad with 3 Dressings

Our favorite taco salad is loaded with all the best toppings and served with some of our favorite dressings. Cilantro lime, chili mango or salsa ranch is the perfect dressing for this crunchy, satisfying salad!

Ingredients

Servings
  • ground turkey or ground beef
  • romaine lettuce tossed with cilantro, chopped
  • cherry tomato chopped
  • corn
  • green onion sliced
  • tortilla chips or strips
  • onion pickled
  • avocado or guacamole

cilantro lime dressing

  • 3 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup cilantro fresh
  • 2 garlic minced or pressed, cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch red pepper flakes crushed
  • cup extra virgin olive oil

chili mango dressing

  • ½ cup Mango fresh, chunks
  • 1 teaspoon chili lime seasoning like tajin
  • 2 lime juiced
  • ⅓ to ½ cup olive oil
  • salt kosher salt
  • black pepper kosher salt

salsa ranch

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons chives fresh or ½ tablespoon dried
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed fresh or 1 teaspoon dried
  • ½ tablespoon parsley fresh or ½ teaspoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice fresh
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup salsa your favorite

Instructions

  1. To make the salad, toss the lettuce with fresh cilantro and a big pinch of salt and pepper. Top with tomatoes, corn, green onions, pickled onions, tortilla chips, seasoned taco meat and guacamole or avocado. Drizzle all over with your dressing of choice. Enjoy!

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the lime juice, honey, garlic, cilantro salt, pepper, pepper flakes and olive oil. Blend until combined and smooth (some pieces of cilantro may remain). Leftovers stay great in the fridge for a few days! Store it in a sealed container.

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the mango, chili lime dressing, lime juice, olive oil and a big pinch of salt and pepper. Blend until combined and smooth. Leftovers stay great in the fridge for a few days! Store it in a sealed container.

salsa ranch

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until pureed and combined. Stir in the salsa. Store in the fridge in a sealed container. This lasts for about a week!
