Oven Baked Tacos

Report
Oven Baked Tacos fill crispy corn shells with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, diced tomatoes, and green chiles, topped with melted cheddar cheese. Baking melds the flavors and warms the tacos evenly, creating a convenient way to prepare multiple tacos with a crisp shell and cheesy finish.

Description

The recipe starts by browning ground beef and draining fat, then combining it with taco seasoning, refried beans, diced Rotel tomatoes, green chiles, and water. This savory filling simmers briefly to blend flavors and thicken slightly.

Corn taco shells are filled with the beef and bean mixture and arranged in a baking dish. Shredded cheddar cheese is spread over half the tacos before baking at 400°F, allowing the cheese to melt and the filling to heat through evenly.

Once baked, the tacos can be garnished with favorite toppings like lettuce, fresh tomatoes, sour cream, or more cheese to customize flavors and textures. This method is practical for feeding a group and serves as a flavorful main dish.
