Pan Fried Tilapia Recipe
Description
The recipe involves dredging tilapia fillets in a dry mix of flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. The fillets are patted dry to promote crisping before coating. Frying takes place in a preheated pan with a thin layer of neutral oil, such as avocado or olive oil, to prevent sticking and encourage even browning. Each side cooks until the coating turns a crispy golden brown.
The finished tilapia has a crispy seasoned crust and moist tender flesh inside. This simple pan-frying method highlights the mild flavor of tilapia while adding a smoky and mildly spiced exterior. The dish pairs easily with vegetables, rice, or salad.
