  • 2 pounds chicken thighs boneless/skinless and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low-sodium
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ginger fresh
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken thighs to a bowl and coat with the canola oil.
  2. Place a grill pan on the stove and heat it up on high. Once heated, add the chicken thighs and leave them for 3-5 minutes on each side. Until they have lines from grilling and the chicken is cooked through. Remove from heat.
  3. In a separate pan, over medium-high heat, add the soy sauce, both sugars, garlic, lemon juice, water, and ginger. Mix and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the temperature to medium-low and cook the sauce for 2-3 minutes.
