Parmesan Chicken Thighs
Description
This recipe prepares Parmesan Chicken Thighs by breading the chicken in a combination of crunchy panko, sharp Parmesan, and Italian herbs, enhanced with garlic seasoning and pepper. The thighs are first dipped in an egg infused with minced garlic to help the coating adhere and impart subtle garlic notes. Baking at 400ºF crisps the coating to a golden-brown color and cooks the chicken through while keeping it moist.
The result is a tender chicken thigh with a savory, crispy crust that showcases the cheese and herb mixture. The contrast between the soft meat and crunchy exterior creates a pleasant texture. This method avoids frying while still providing a flavorful crust.
The finished thighs can be served alongside vegetables, grains, or salads for a well-rounded meal.
