Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops
Description
This recipe for Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops is built on a coating of grated Parmesan cheese combined with Italian-seasoned bread crumbs, paprika, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. The pork chops are dipped into this mixture to create a flavorful crust. Cooking starts with a quick sear in olive oil over medium-high heat to brown the coating and lock in juices.
Following the sear, the chops are transferred to a baking dish and finished in a 350°F oven until the internal temperature reaches 140°F. After resting, the temperature carries over to 145°F, ensuring safe and moist results. The contrast between the golden crust and the juicy chop distinguishes this dish.
These pork chops serve well alongside roasted vegetables or a salad, offering a balanced meal. The combination of crispy, cheesy coating and tender meat makes them satisfying as an entrée.
Leftover pork chops can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days and reheated gently to maintain moisture.
