Parmesan Crusted Zucchini Recipe
Description
Parmesan Crusted Zucchini features fresh zucchini sliced lengthwise into quarters, then arranged on a foil-lined baking sheet. Drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled generously with grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper, the zucchini bakes at 350°F until tender. The final two minutes under the broiler brown the cheese, creating a crisp, flavorful crust that contrasts nicely with the soft zucchini beneath. The recipe keeps the seasoning simple and relies on the natural flavors of the ingredients to stand out.
The texture combines the softness of the baked zucchini with the crunchy, savory cheese topping. Olive oil adds a mild richness without overpowering the delicate vegetable. The method requires minimal prep, making it an accessible side dish to complement a variety of meals.
This baked zucchini can be served as a vegetable side for weekday dinners or weekend meals alike, offering a balance of fresh vegetable flavor and cheesy crispness without complexity.
