Parmesan Grilled Corn on the Cob

Report
Parmesan Grilled Corn on the Cob is a seasonal favorite where fresh corn is grilled until tender with slight charring and brushed with a butter, garlic, and salt mixture. Finishing with a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan adds a salty, nutty dimension. The result is a warm, savory side with a crisp-tender texture and rich flavor.

Description

The corn husks are removed and cobs are cleaned before grilling over medium-high heat. Turning regularly ensures even cooking and a slight browning on the kernels. The grilling process imparts a subtle smokiness while maintaining the natural sweet juiciness of the corn.

A quickly prepared garlic butter sauce with melted butter, minced garlic, and salt is brushed onto the hot corn as soon as it comes off the grill to allow the flavors to absorb. Grated Parmesan cheese is sprinkled immediately after, where it melts slightly against the warmth and clings to the butter coating.

This dish is best served warm and complements barbeque dishes, picnic meals, or casual dinners with grilled meats and vegetables. Leftover grilled corn can be stored in an airtight container for up to five days and reheated gently.
