  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups peach diced, fresh

For the Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/3 cup peaches peeled and drained of any extra juice, finely diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons heavy cream optional, or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar, milk, oil, egg and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold the peaches gently into the batter.
