Peach Iced Tea

Peach Iced Tea combines brewed black tea with a peach-flavored simple syrup and pureed canned peaches to create a sweetened, fruity iced beverage. The tea is steeped strong and cooled before mixing with syrup and peach puree, resulting in a refreshing, balanced drink with bright tea notes and a noticeable peach aroma and taste.

Description

This Peach Iced Tea starts with steeping black tea bags in boiling water to extract bold tea flavors. The simple syrup made by dissolving equal parts sugar and water adds sweetness that evenly blends in cold tea. Adding pureed canned peach to the mixture gives the iced tea a natural fruit essence and slight thickness, enhancing the drink's character beyond plain sweetened tea.

After mixing, the iced tea is diluted with additional water for a balanced strength and chilled for serving over ice. Optional garnish such as fresh peach slices or mint can brighten the presentation and add a fresh aroma. This tea offers a classic Southern-style iced tea variation with the warmth of black tea balanced by peach sweetness.
