Ingredients
- ½ cup softened unsalted butter
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 13x9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Mix the ½ cup softened unsalted butter, ¼ cup granulated sugar, and 1 cup light brown sugar in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment until creamy 2-3 minutes.
- Add in ¾ cup creamy peanut butter and mix until incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add in 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and 1 egg and mix to combine.
- In a medium bowl combine the 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, ¾ teaspoon baking soda, and ¼ teaspoon salt.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture until just combined. Fold in the 1 ½ cups chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Place the pan on a wire rack to cool completely. Once completely cooled, cut into squares.
