Peanut Butter Oreo Bars

Peanut Butter Oreo Bars are a layered dessert combining a crushed Oreo and butter crust, a creamy peanut butter filling mixed with graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar, topped with a smooth peanut butter and chocolate glaze. The bars balance crunchy, creamy, sweet, and salty flavors in a no-bake chilled treat.

Description

The base layer consists of finely crushed Oreo cookies mixed with melted butter, pressed firmly into a baking pan and frozen briefly to set. The middle peanut butter layer is a creamy mixture of melted butter, peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar whipped until fluffy, then spread evenly over the crust and refrozen.

The final chocolate layer is made by gently heating peanut butter with semisweet chocolate chips until smooth, then poured over the peanut butter filling. The bars are chilled for at least two hours to firm up completely before slicing.

This dessert offers contrasting textures from the crunchy Oreo crust, dense sweet peanut filling, and silky chocolate peanut topping. It is rich and flavorful, suitable for potlucks, dessert tables, or sweet treats at home.
