Pear Pomegranate Salad
Description
Pear Pomegranate Salad combines mixed salad greens with sliced ripe pear and tart pomegranate seeds, providing a harmony of textures from crisp to juicy. The addition of pistachios contributes a crunchy nutty element while thinly sliced red onion lends mild sharpness. Crumbled blue cheese introduces creamy, salty notes that contrast the sweet and fresh components.
The dressing blends extra-virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, freshly squeezed lemon juice, pure maple syrup or honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. This vinaigrette brightens and ties together the ingredients with a balance of acidity, mild sweetness, and a subtle garlic note, seasoned with salt and black pepper to taste.
The salad is tossed to coat all ingredients evenly and can be served immediately as a visually appealing side or light meal that combines fruit, nuts, greens, and cheese in a composed, refreshing way.
