Pepperoni Cheese Stick Roll Ups

The Pepperoni Cheese Stick Roll Ups use crescent roll dough wrapped around halved cheese sticks and slices of pepperoni, baked until golden and brushed with a flavorful garlic butter glaze. The garlic butter combines melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese to add a savory, aromatic finish. These roll ups are served with marinara or ranch sauce for dipping, offering a warm, cheesy snack that balances crispy baked dough with melty cheese and seasoned meat.

Description

Starting with refrigerated crescent roll dough, each triangle is topped with slices of pepperoni and half a cheese stick, then rolled and placed seam side down for even baking. The dough bakes at 350°F until golden and puffed, approximately 10-14 minutes. After baking, a garlic butter glaze of melted butter mixed with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese is brushed on to infuse rich, savory notes and slight crispness to the surface.

These roll ups are served warm with optional marinara or ranch dipping sauces, making them suitable as a snack, appetizer, or party food. The combination of crescent roll dough’s flaky softness, melted cheese, and seasoned pepperoni creates a satisfying finger food with both texture and flavor contrast.

Following the method ensures the pepperoni stays atop the cheese during baking and the glaze applied immediately after baking enhances both appearance and flavor. Store-bought crescent dough simplifies preparation, and baking time may be adjusted slightly depending on oven variations.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 crescent roll dough refrigerated, 8 ounce package
  • 4 cheese sticks halved
  • 1 pepperoni sliced, 3.5 ounce package
  • marinara sauce optional, or ranch sauce for dipping

Garlic Butter Glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/2 /2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 /4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Take each triangle of crescent roll dough and place about 6 pepperoni on the bottom of the triangle. Place half of a cheese stick on top and roll up. Place seam side down on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. While rolls are cooking, combine the melted butter, Italian seasonings, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
  4. When rolls are done remove from the oven and brush with the garlic butter glaze. Serve with marinara or ranch for dipping.

Notes

  • Brush the roll ups with garlic butter glaze immediately after baking for best flavor and shine.
  • Serve warm with marinara or ranch sauce for dipping to complement the savory roll ups.
  • Use refrigerated crescent dough for easy handling and light, flaky texture.
  • Adjust baking time if your oven tends to run hot to avoid overbrowning.
