Pepperoni Pizza Dip

Pepperoni Pizza Dip blends cream cheese and sour cream with Italian herbs as a creamy base, layered with drained diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, pepperoni, black olives, and mozzarella cheese. Baked until hot and bubbly, it offers a warm, melty dip reminiscent of classic pizza flavors. The combination of tangy herbs, savory pepperoni, and gooey cheese creates a party-friendly appetizer matched well by pizza breadsticks for dipping.

Description

The Pepperoni Pizza Dip recipe starts by mixing sour cream and softened cream cheese with dried oregano and basil to create a smooth, herbed base. This is spread in a cast iron skillet then topped with drained diced tomatoes and marinara sauce to add tomato richness without excess moisture. Chopped pepperoni and sliced black olives deliver savory and briny notes, while shredded mozzarella melts on top to unify the ingredients with a bubbly, cheesy finish.

Baked at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 12-15 minutes, the dip becomes hot and visually inviting, its melted cheese golden with a slight stretchiness. The herbs and red pepper flakes provide subtle warmth and Italian seasoning character. This dip combines creamy, tangy, and meaty tastes with a moist texture, mimicking pepperoni pizza flavors in easy-to-serve form.

This dip pairs conveniently with pizza breadsticks, used for scooping the warm mixture. It works well as a crowd-pleasing appetizer for casual gatherings or game-day snacks. The skillet presentation retains heat, keeping the dish inviting throughout serving time.
