Perfectly Tender London Broil

Perfectly Tender London Broil features marinated round steak soaked in a blend of soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and Italian seasoning. After marinating, the steak is broiled quickly at high heat to develop a flavorful crust while maintaining a tender, medium-rare center. Resting the meat before slicing helps retain its juices and tenderness.

Description

This recipe uses a marinade combining soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt to tenderize and flavor the London broil. The steak is marinated for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to penetrate deeply.

Cooking under a broiler at high heat for several minutes on each side results in a nicely browned exterior while preserving a medium-rare interior. The quick cooking method avoids drying out the meat, delivering a tender bite.

Letting the steak rest for 10 minutes after cooking allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring it stays moist. Slicing thinly across the grain further enhances tenderness.
