Pesto Whipped Feta
Description
Pesto Whipped Feta blends crumbled feta cheese with plain Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced fresh garlic, and either homemade or store-bought pesto. The ingredients are combined in a food processor or by hand to create a creamy, spreadable dip with a balance of salty, tangy feta and fresh herbal notes from the pesto. Olive oil adds smoothness while garlic contributes pungency.
This dip may be served immediately with assorted dippers such as cucumber, celery, carrot, bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, pita bread, baguette slices, or crackers. It can also be thinned with extra olive oil or yogurt to adjust texture and flavor intensity. The recipe yields about 1½ cups, suitable for multiple servings.
Using full-fat yogurt and feta enhances creaminess and flavor. Fresh crumbling of feta gives a smoother consistency compared to pre-crumbled versions. The dip holds well refrigerated and benefits from resting to meld flavors before serving.

- If you would like to thin the dip further, an extra TBSP of olive oil or yogurt may be added. Taste test and feel free to add any additional pesto desired.
FORK METHOD
- Peel, smash, and mince one clove of garlic.
- Finely crumble the block of feta into a bowl (freshly crumbled feta is much creamier than pre-crumbled feta) then add remaining ingredients, including garlic.
- Use a fork to mash the ingredients together into a rustic-style feta spread.
- If you would like to thin the dip further, an extra TBSP of olive oil or yogurt may be added. Taste test and feel free to add any additional pesto desired.
