Philly Cheesesteak Pasta recipe
Description
The Philly Cheesesteak Pasta recipe translates the iconic sandwich's flavors into a pasta dish using ground beef sautéed with diced green bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. A French onion soup packet seasons the mixture, blending with Worcestershire sauce for depth. Adding beef broth and milk creates a flavorful cooking liquid for elbow macaroni, which cooks until tender and absorbs these savory flavors.
The final step involves stirring in torn provolone and shredded mozzarella cheeses, melted until creamy, resulting in a rich, cheesy pasta that captures the essence of a Philly cheesesteak without bread. The dish offers a satisfying combination of tender pasta, beef, vegetables, and melted cheese.
This pasta is suitable for a filling family meal and can be served as a standalone entree. The layering of savory and creamy elements makes it a comforting dish with familiar, robust flavors reminiscent of the original sandwich.
