Pickle Pizza
Description
This Pickle Pizza uses a pizza dough base rolled to about 12 inches, layered first with a smooth garlic sauce made from sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and seasoning. Thin slices of dill pickles are distributed evenly over the sauce, topped with shredded mozzarella and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Baking in a 400°F oven melts the cheese and crisps the crust to a golden brown.
The garlic sauce provides a creamy, savory foundation that contrasts with the acidity and saltiness of the pickles. Mozzarella adds melty texture, while Parmesan contributes nuttiness. The result is a pizza with a crisp yet tender crust, balanced by the creamy sauce and bright pickle bite.
Letting the pizza rest briefly before slicing allows the toppings to set. This pizza offers an interesting twist for those who enjoy dill pickles and creamy garlic flavors.
