Pimento Cheese Ball
Description
Pimento Cheese Ball involves pulsing sharp cheddar, cream cheese, mayonnaise, pimentos, garlic powder, and kosher salt together until a cohesive but chunky blend forms. The mixture is sticky enough to form into a ball shape.
Rolling the cheese ball in chopped pecans and parsley coats its exterior with a nutty crunch and fresh herb notes, adding texture and color contrast. The cheese ball offers a balance of creaminess, mild heat from pimentos, and savory garlic and salt seasoning.
It is commonly served chilled as a party appetizer accompanied by crackers, carrots, celery, or other crudités. Wrapping tightly and chilling before serving allows the flavors to meld and the texture to firm slightly, making it easy to slice or spread.
