Pineapple-Jalapeno Hot Sauce – Recipe
Description
The recipe starts with finely chopped pineapple, jalapenos, onions, garlic, tomato, and cilantro combined to create a vibrant base. Lime juice and apple cider vinegar contribute brightness and acidity that complement the fruitiness and moderate heat from jalapenos. Processing all ingredients until smooth produces a consistent sauce.
Brief boiling and simmering meld the flavors, soften the sharpness of raw ingredients, and thicken the sauce slightly. This results in a zesty, fruity, and moderately spicy hot sauce that can enhance a variety of dishes.
Once cooled, the sauce is bottled and stored, ready to add a fresh, bright, and spicy kick to meals such as tacos, grilled meats, or eggs.
